I teach

I have worked across communities, from young people in high-risk areas to adults in prisons, as well as charities in the UK and universities. My work blends the worlds of theatre and therapuetic practices — always bringing humour and a supportive approach to the classroom. I draw on extensive training in both theatre and outreach facilitation, and my aim is to meet each class where they are at, fostering growth through fun, laughter, group cohesion, and creative exploration.

Teaching Focus

I specialise in the following areas:

  • Political Theatre-Making

  • Devised Theatre

  • Improv Comedy

  • Physical Theatre & Movement

I write comedy

As a comedy writer, I have worked across both stage and screen. My journey began in New York, where I trained in Improv and Sketch Writing at The People’s Improv Theatre and North Coast Hip Hop Improv. I completed Soho Theatre’s Sketch Comedy Lab in 2022.

I direct

I began my directing journey during my time at Riker’s Island Prison, where I directed several productions with inmates, an experience that deeply shaped my approach to theatre. Since then, I've had the privilege of working in some of London's most prestigious venues, including:

  • Soho Theatre

  • The National Theatre Studios

  • Barbican Open Lab

I’ve worked as a director, assistant director and artistic contributor, with a strong foundation in musical theatre and an affinity for incorporating song and dance into productions. I also have a passion for new writing and devised works, and have completed Audio Description training with Theatre Greaea.
